Options (usually nothing to change here)

Combine takeoffs with the same name across plan sheets into one line Put names starting with ALT in their own cost group, so alternates stay out of the base bid Write the source plan sheets into each line's description Add a header row for each cost group with quantity 1, so JobTread does not copy the first item's quantity onto the group Cost group for everything else

Units

STACK's units are converted to Premium Painting's JobTread units automatically. Only change one if it's flagged above.

Pricing

Without a rate table, the file carries names, quantities and units, and pricing happens in JobTread. With one, each line becomes a labor row and a materials row with unit costs and cost code filled in. Names with no rate are flagged for pricing by hand.

3Download and import

The download unlocks once a STACK export is loaded.

In JobTread, open the job's Budget tab, choose Import, and select the downloaded file. The columns match automatically.
Before building the proposal, check the budget's quantities against the totals in step 2.
